GARDEROBA FASHION MAGAZINE

An Israeli fashion magazine dealing with the question of whether there is Israeli fashion at all or are we just copying from the rest of the world and bringing the fashion to our tiny country because what's good for Spanish / American / Japanese is good for Israelis as well.

At the beginning of our journey in our tiny country that developed we could see the development of local fashion trends such as the working costume that characterized the 1940's dress code or biblical style that developed in the 1950's that is appropriate for our country. But also those we aspired and took from others who were already here before us and the pioneers thoughtt it was cool.

As part of  the  globalization  process, Israel began to be increasingly influenced by the world, the hippie scene that began in the 1970's and the rock scene that began in the 1980's are just part of the change that has affected our small country.

These  days  we  have  learned  to love  fashion that don't belong to us: Spanish fashion such as: Zara and mango, we are a nation that loves American Eagle and Swedish H&M those are the biggest sellers here in our small country who could make a little more effort and develop their own style.
