Birthright Israel is a not-for-profit educational organization that sponsors free ten-day heritage trips to Israel for young adults of Jewish heritage, aged 18–32. Taglit is the Hebrew word for discovery. During their trip, participants, most of whom are visiting Israel for the first time, are encouraged to discover new meaning in their personal Jewish identity and connection to Jewish history and culture.
This project deals with the recruitment of young people aged 22-32 who are interested in representing Israel and conveying the special Israeli experience to young people from around the world.
Birthright Israel
We were asked to launch a mass recruitment campaign for Taglit winter and summer 2019. We were looking for young people who speak the languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Hungarian, French and German who know and love the Land of Israel.
The work on the project included the preparation of a concept adapted to a young people, who are updated and lives on the Internet and social networks, so the language chosen for the campaign is a language taken from the worlds of Instagram, hashtag and tagging.
